We hope to encourage those getting into sailing to come out and sail on the Colne and enjoy the company of fellow members.
The tides are;
Friday: HW 06.20, 18.50
Saturday: HW 07.20, 20.10
Sunday: HW 08.50, 21.40
Friday evening: Gather in Pyefleet at anchor. Tow a tender if you can so we can socialise on Rising Dawn.
Saturday: Sail up and down the Colne and finally going to roost in Brightlingsea around 5pm. Again, gathering on Rising Dawn for a chat about the day. In the evening, a meal at the Yachtsman’s Arms at 7pm.
Sunday: Gather for breakfast in the Victoria Cafe at 10am, followed by more sailing in company with a floating lunch somewhere to be decided. Boats back to home moorings before the evening HW.
It would be great if you could join us in your boat or at the land-based events. In order to book moorings and meals I need to know if you wish to be included.
Please reply to this email by August 7th with the
following information.
- If you intend to sail, please supply boat name and number of persons on board.
- If you require a berth in Brightlingsea for Saturday evening then boat name, length,
draft, and beam. - If you intend to join us for the dinner, the number you wish to include.
- If you intend to join us for breakfast, then the number you wish to include.
