Our first winter talk of 2025 is Saturday 18th January 2025 at the Nottage 19:30 hrs. Incredibly it is almost 20 years since the Boxing Day tsunami of 2004. Peter Goldsmith was sailing in the region at the time and will talk about his experiences. Second half he will lighten the mood a little and entertain us with his account of sailing the west coast of Britain this summer.
These talks are a gentle affair and always pleasant. If you have not been to one before give it a go. This event is free. Naturally cheese and first glass of wine or beer is available for £5 per head. You may purchase more drinks if you wish. We would hate to run out of wine and ask you tell Peter our Talk Liaison on pjg@mm.st if you wish to come.
We would love to be joined by friends from along the Colne and the East Coast for this event and send out an open invitation to our comrades at WSC, Alresford Creek, Rowhedge Mooring Association, Walton and Brightlingsea. If you are a WRCA member and a member of any other club may I ask you circulate this invitation to your other club or association. We are proud of our connection with The Nottage and welcome non-member friends to see this wonderful place.
All Welcome!
Hope you all have a Happy 2025. Time to get ready for the season ahead.
